Carrie Brummett, age 74, of Paris, Tx entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Legend Healthcare with her loving family by her side. Carrie was born October 13, 1946, in Paris, TX to Paul "Bill" Ingram and Reva (Goodwin) Bracken. Carrie married Donald "Don" Brummett on July 4, 1967, in Clarksville, TX. Carrie was a waitress for many years. She was a kind and caring animal lover who adored her (fur) babies. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Don, two brothers John Paul Ingram and Earl Ingram, and a sister Marie Stewart.
Carrie is survived by two daughters, Lisa Brummett and Bill Leach of Pattonville, TX and Tina Derosier and husband Douglas of Yukon, Ok. Also, she is survived by two granddaughters Cassie Brummett and Josh White, and Savannah Brummett and April, all of Paris, TX, four grandsons, Trent Brummett and Cody Brummett of Paris, TX, Nathaniel Derosier and Allison of Oklahoma City, OK and Adam Schack and Sarah of Medford, OR, a brother Charles Ingram, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carrie is also survived by her six 4-legged babies, whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel, 425 S. Church Street, Paris, TX, with John Mark Ingram officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to the Paris Humane Society, 310 Clement Rd, Paris, TX.
