Christine Dennis

Christine Dennis, 70, of Deport, TX, passed from this life on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home, with her daughters by her side.  Christine was born April 17, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, to Wayne and Joyce (Redwine) Hormann.  Christine was a cook at the Deport Restuarants and drove a truck for Transport America for twenty years.  She enjoyed spending time at the lake camping, Friday night dinner club with friends and family time and cooking for her family.  She attended Canaanland Church of God in Reno, TX.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Hormann and Joyce Hormann, and her sister-in-law, Judy Hormann.

Left to cherish her wonderful memories are; her two daughters; Tammy Hagood of Paris, TX and Tanya Currier-Wilson and Kevin of Pattonville, TX.  Known as Granny to her grandkids, she is survived by grandchildren; Anthonie Hagood and Stacie of Deport, TX, Monica Sessums and Randall of Deport, TX, Maycee Scroggins and Will of Bryan, TX and Aubreigh Hagood of Pattonvilee, TX, along with five great-granchildren.  Also, she is survived by one brother, Dennis Hormann of New Braunfels, TX.  And her dog Max, who was her constant companion.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
