Frances Evelyn Bramlett

February 9, 1930 — October 10, 2014

FRANCES EVELYN BRAMLETT, 84, passed from this life on Friday October 10, 2014 at the home of her son Bobby in Wolffort, Texas, where she had moved this past spring following a fall. Following cremation arrangements by Starrett Funeral Home, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday October 19, 2014 at Springlake Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Parker and Rev. Darwin Anderson officiating.

Frances was born February 16, 1930 in Paris, a daughter of Frank and Minnie Estelle Eatherly. She was a graduate or Paris High School. Frances married Bobby Coy Bramlett on June 12, 1948. She was first and foremost a wife and a loving mother of three children, but for a period of time she worked outside of the homeas a secretary for Braniff International and as a Librarian in Arlington. The remainder of her career was assisting her husband in his many business endeavors as an accountant. Her life was a full one of love and service to her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and spent countless hours making clothes for her children when they were young. Shewas dedicated gardener, proficient in design and determined in maintenance. Frances knew how to work those flower beds! She enjoyed many activities such as golf and traveling with family and friends, especially when golf was included in the travel plans. Her real passion was baking, and she was famous for her wonderful cream pies and most any other treat she turned from her oven. She inspired one of her granddaughters to start a business known as "Fried Pie Mama," to carry on the tradition of her excellent pie making. Her baking was a labor of love and the sharing of these gifts was her means of helping to heal a broken heart, show welcome to a new neighbor, or simply a gesture of her kindness. Her laughter was unforgettable, her thoughtfulness constant, and the deep rivers of her love created a bond for her family that will last eternally.

Frances is survived by two daughters, Cherry Cunningham and Patricia Willis; a son, Bobby Lee Bramlett; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and by her beloved sister, Shirley McMillan.

If desired, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the hospice organization of your choice.
