Gordon Charles "Buck" Boyce

GORDON CHARLES "BUCK" BOYCE, passed from this life peacefully on Monday July 20, 2014 at Brentwood Terrace, in his ninetieth year. Although no formal public ceremonies are planned, his friends are asked to remember him fondly as a man of character, trustworthiness, and as a helper to children.

He was born June 19, 1924 in the Bear Paw Mountains of Montana to a family of early settlers in that part of the West. He spent his life in rodeos and ranching, and had a permanent attachment to all things related to agriculture. In 1956, while active as a champion rodeo performer, he married Valerie Webb in the presence of his fellow performers, at a rodeo in Camdenton, Missouri. She survives.
