James Martin Nelson

James Martin Nelson, 82, of Paris, Tx, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Paris Regional Medical Center.  Funeral arrangements will be provided by Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors, with family visitation to be held at the open air chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 10, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., immediately following visitation, with Wade White officiating. 
James was born on October 15, 1938, in Westside, Iowa to Elmer and Bernice (Martinson) Nelson.  He married Barbara Ann Herrscher on July 29, 1966, in Houston, Tx.  James served in the US Army.  
James was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bernice Nelson, and his wife, Ann.
Left to cherish James' memory are his daughters; Laurie Nelson and Mary Nelson Hall, and two grandchildren.
