JUANITA SULSAR GLENN, 88, of Paris, passed from this life Sunday July 4, 2010 at Paris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct graveside rites at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Glenn was born December 26, 1921 in Fulbright, a daughter of Scott Ellis and Jennie Mae Lassiter Sulsar. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a proofreader at the Paris News for many years before her retirement, then worked alongside her husband raising registered Quarter Horses.
She married Raymond Glenn on May 29, 1940 in Cooper.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jimmy Lloyd Glenn; two brothers, Darl Sulsar and Scott Sulsar; and by her parents.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Armstrong, of Ovilla, Texas and Carolyn Sue Shoemate, of Temple; grandchildren Roger Stripland, Ronald Stripland, Tine Wieneke, Valarie Wilson and Wendi Hildreth; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Hixson, of Tennessee.
