Lorene Lollar

LORENE LOLLAR, 91, of Paris, passed from this life Sunday February 27, 2011 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct graveside rites at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the Hopewell Cemetery, with Rev. Fred Fangio officiating.

The family will be at their respective residences.

Mrs. Lollar was born June 8, 1919 in Paris, a daughter of Jim Roy and Ivy Lee Sanders Taylor. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and was a nurse's aide prior to her retirement. She married Andrew Clifford Lollar on July 27, 1934 in Minter, and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1994.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lee Page and Joyce Whittington; by five sisters, Cleo Neighbors, Theo Armstrong, Jewel Smith, Ruby Taylor and Opal Wells; and by two brothers, Clyde Taylor and Jake Taylor.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry Lollar, Ken Lollar, and Billy D. Lollar, all of Paris; four daughters, Robbie Hobbs, Linda Lovin, Sherry Brown, and Pat Barnes, all of Paris; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Marshall, of Paris.
