Richard Kenneth Alexander, born September 28, 1972 in Odessa, TX, and he passed away June 30, 2017 at his home in Paris, TX.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Roden Pryor Funeral Directors. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:30 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church, 3155 Pine Mill Road, Paris, TX.
Raised in Odessa, he worked as a driller/tool pusher for several oil field companies following graduation. He moved to Paris in 2016 where he earned a welding degree from PJC. He was currently employed by Load Trail in Tigertown.
He loved hunting and fishing. He was a self proclaimed amateur chef and loved to cook for family and friends. He was a loving and giving father and son.
He was preceded in death by his father, Deloss (Bud) Alexander. He is survived by sons, Austin Alexander & wife, Riley of Sherman, TX, and Ricky Alexander of Silo, OK; Stepdaughters, Chelsie Perryman & husband, Michael of Whitesboro, and Kiara Miller of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Paisley Alexander of Sherman, Skylen Lee and Weston Perryman, both of Whitesboro; mother, Vicky M. Braswell and husband, Charles of Paris; brother, Gregory Bowers & wife, Cathy of Princeton; sisters, Katy Churchwell & husband, Patrick of Melissa, Terrie Acker & husband, Clayton of Ralls, TX, Tonya and Tammy Scott of Odessa; grandparents, LeRoy & Marie Bowers of Paris; nephews, Jacob & Jordan Bowers, Jared & Byron Dodson, Andrew and Derrick Churchwell; niece, Nicki Bishop; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
