Sandra Mayfield

SANDRA L. MAYFIELD, 68, of Paris, passed from this life at 6:45 p.m. Sunday May 16, 2010 at Brentwood Terrace. Following a private memorial gathering by the family, her body was given to the Willed Body Program of U.T. Southwestern Medical Center.

Sandra was born February 27, 1942 in Chicota, a daughter of Virgil Porter and Mamie Milson Beason. She worked for a number of years in sales at Walmart, but spent most of her life as a homemaker, providing for her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include four daughters, Joy Mayfield Draper, of Paris, Toni Bishop, of Carthage, Tine Pierce, of Cooper and Alicia Helfinbine, of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bucky Beason, of Oklahoma and Roy Lee Beason, of Arkansas; two sisters, Flo Curry, of Midland and Lisa Rambo, of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
