Scott "Ziggy" Gridley

SCOTT LEE "ZIGGY" GRIDLEY, 49, of the Givens community, passed from this life unexpectedly on Monday June 1, 2015 at his residence. His family will host a memorial service at11:00 a.m.on Friday June 5th, 2015 at the Novice Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating.

Scott was born March 8, 1966 in Houston. Moving to Lamar County in 1999, he was the owner/operator of Ziggy's Computers. He attended the Novice Baptist Church, and was an active volunteer with the Novice Volunteer Fire Department.


He married Elizabeth Ann Hooser on November 27, 2006 in Paris.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jenelle Gridley and Cara DeWitt.

Ziggy is survived by his wife Liz; two sons, Ryan Gridley and Dylan Gridley, both of Paris; a daughter, McKenna Gridley, of Paris; three sisters, Lana Gates, of Paris, Deana Goodman, of Jefferson, and Amanda Baxter, of Sulphur Springs; a brother, Shannon Gridley, of Springfield, Missouri; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tommy and Pamela Hooser, of Blossom.
