Shirley Ann Oldacre

Shirley Ann Oldacre, 80, Paris, Texas passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Medical City Plano, Texas.  Shirley was born May 30, 1941 in Gober, Texas to B.F. and Geraldine (Trout) Green. Shirley married J. Wendell Oldacre on October 23, 1959 in Dumas, Texas.  Shirley enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crafting and was very talented.  She loved hosting family for all occasions and attending the events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, J.W. Oldacre, and infant granddaughter, Hayleigh Payne.

Shirley is survived by: son, Jeff (Carla) Oldacre, daughter, Carrie (Bill) Gates, brother, Jimmy (Carole) Green, and sister, Kathy Green.  Five grandchildren: Taryn (Brad) Bain, Jayce (Adalee) Oldacre, Paige (Russ) Johnson, Wade Payne and Jayton Oldacre, and six great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are being provided by Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors, 1929 Bonham Street, Paris, Texas.  Shirley's cremains will be buried with her husband in Gober Cemetery.
