Tillie Ford

Tillie Mae DeAtley Ford died peacefully at her home November 13, 2021. She was born September 4, 1930 in Paris, Texas to parents, James Edward DeAtley and Georgia Annie King DeAtley. She married Eulice James (Buck) Ford on October 30, 1948 at her home in Paris, Texas.

Tillie was an avid CB'er, known as "Green Cat", a retired beautician and had been an avid bowler for many years. At age 85, she was still mowing her own yard behind her push mower.

She was preceded in death by husband, Buck and three sisters, Valiria Doop, and Fannie Merle DeAtley: brothers Tom Henry DeAtley, Edwin Earl DeAtley and Melvin Lewis DeAtley.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Ann Ford who had been caring for her for the few years. She is also survived by a host of cousins, in-laws and friends who are like family.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Roden-Pryor Funeral Home, 1929 Bonham Street, Paris, Texas, with the funeral services at 3:00 PM, in the chapel at Roden-Pryor Funeral Home..
