VIRGINIA MCMIKEL, 76, of Paris passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors have set graveside services for 4 p.m. Friday November 18, 2016 at Highland Cemetery in Deport with Rev. Scotty Parnell officiating.

The family will greet friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.

Virginia was born March 31, 1940 in Deport to Fred and Ruth Compton Phifer.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, twelve years earlier on November 15, 2004; and a sister, Margie Smithson.

Surviving are brothers Freddie Phifer and Jimmie Phifer; a sister Imogene Sanford; a daughter, Diana Morgan; grandchildren, Christy Taylor, Robert Taylor and John Taylor; great-grandchildren, Clayton Bramlett and Havyn Bramlett.
